[edit] Aelita/Normal tower glow?

This may have been imagined, or posably because of different angles or something, but towers seem to have a lighter and more brilient blue when Aelita is useing them. This would make some sense, seing as her father has a white glow... --Kinkoblast 15:34, 19 December 2005 (UTC)

  • The lighter-blue tower effect seen in some episodes is a product of the background. They are still blue. -- Someguy0830 09:15, 28 December 2005 (UTC)

Yes, I think it was imagined. If Aelita was using the towers, their color would probably be yellow or something. Aelita's use of the towers seems to indicate neutrality, if that's a word. --Gravity Control

[edit] Different Towers???

In many episodes, Jeremy mentions Way Towers, but they look the same as normal towers. How can the gang (except Jeremy) tell the differance?

Location, location, location. Always wanted to say that. – Someguy0830 (Talk | contribs) 20:09, 15 July 2006 (UTC)

What kinds of towers are there, anyway? Way Towers and what? -- User:Aelita@Lyoko

I believe there are way towers and standard towers, and maybe a tower between Carthage and another sector judging from the contents of this article Wiki Fox 21:35, 14 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] About tower deactivation.

The article states "Aelita is the only human capable of deactivating a tower activated by Xana. She does so by entering the tower, floating up to the interface, and entering CODE: LYOKO." She doesn't seem to be entering a code, just placing her palm on the interface. The tower seems to identify her name and code based on this input, this is even more apparent in the episode "xana awakens" where Aelita has no memory-no knowledge of tower operation or her name and code. Anyone disagree with this? (I registerd long ago but never edited an article, just wanna make sure others agree) :/ Wiki Fox 21:55, 14 October 2006 (UTC)

It's pretty safe to assume that the computer does what she thinks, thus no need for much physical interaction. She often uses the towers for non-deactivation purposes, so simply putting her palm on the computer isn't going to enter the code automatically. ~iNVERTED | Rob (Talk | Contribs) 07:20, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
If it did do what she thought that would be inconsistent with her input on the screen, also there are systems like a stand alone fingerprint scanner that enter your code on windows xp/2000 automatically when used. The tower seems to auto-deactivate when active, and when its inactive accepts input from her after shes recongnized. Wiki Fox
What Fox says is the most accurate assumption. When deactivating towers, the process is automatic. Xana's version is different because it's a transfer of information, thus a different code. Any actual operations just require the handprint as a security measure. – Someguy0830 (Talk | contribs) 19:11, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
I think the codes section and maybe title should just be rewritten to reflect this and other apparent flaws, for example isn't code earth just the name of the program used? Not once have I seen her enter this on the interface. Theres also code xana, yet again she just scanned her palm, presumably the virus is injecting a backdoor or removing a lock that prevents xana from using it for obvious reasons.
