Tovmas Nazarbekian (Nazarbekov) (1855 - 1928) Armenian, general in the Russian Army who was the governor of Free Vaspurakan.

• Armenian victory over Khalil Pasha at Diliman.
• Took the city of Bitlis during Battle of Bitlis.
• He was driven back to Dilijan in May 1918. However, he pushed the advancing Ottoman 3^rd Army back a few days and gave the Armenian forces a preparation time for the Battle of Sardarapat.
• Commander-in-chief of Democratic Republic of Armenia.
