Talk:Toul-Rosières Air Base
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This is a wonderfully detailed history-- one small correction however. My father was a U.S. tactical nuclear fighter-bomber pilot in 1960 stationed at Toule and his squadron was asked to leave by President DeGaul as well (because France desired nuclear independence, not because of any problems with any squadron members)-- but they relocated to Ramstein Air Force base in Germany, not to Hahn as the article states. My father is still living and I will try to get more details if possible.
Thanks,
Phil Murray
