Talk:Tough guy
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Since I contributed a section to the original page, on the Though Guy competition, I would like to see the article survive this time, but won't go to the full trouble if the same deletion 'procedure' applies (last time I saw no discussion worthy of that name, it was all over in no time; hopefully better this time) before I see if it gets a fair chance this time. The present state of the page is a lot less the it was and probably will become again if not deleted. Fastifex 18:43, 29 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Cleanup required
Items in examples must be referenced: either person's wikipedia article must say he is tough guy, or reputable external link provied. Otherwise deleted. `'mikkanarxi 18:38, 16 October 2006 (UTC)
I have gone over the article to improve it in this way, clear out vanity entries and other junk. There is still too much emphasis upon contemporary movie actors and other phonies like pro-wrestlers rather than real-world tough guys. I'll come back to this as more examples occur to me.
