[edit] Overview

TorrentVolve is a cross-platform PHP-driven BitTorrent client. It focuses on speed and reliability, while still providing a full feature set. Features include a user management system, a Torrent file manager, and a configurable Torrent downloader. It uses its own XML based database so no database installation is required. It also is designed for modularity so other developers can make it compatible with different torrent clients. An open-source version of Azureus is included with the TorrentVolve distribution.

[edit] History

TorrentVolve originally started as an open source project at Neumont University. Its developers remained on the project after the term of its conception and continue to work on it, fulfilling community requests through bug fixes and feature additions.
