The Torre Espacio (Spanish for Space Tower) is a skyscraper that is currently under construction in Madrid, Spain. The skyscraper will be 236 metres (774 feet) tall and have 57 floors. It is due to be completed in 2007.

In November 2006, its structure surpassed the height of the Gran Hotel Bali, thus becoming the tallest building in Spain. The structure was topped out on March 19, 2007. On the night of that day, Alberto Ruiz Gallardón, mayor of Madrid, attended a ceremony with fireworks to commemorate the event [1]. With its 236 m, it has also become the tallest structure in Spain, surpassing the telecommunications tower Torrespaña. However, Torre de Cristal and Torre Repsol, two of the neighbouring skyscrapers under construction at the Cuatro Torres Business Area, will soon surpass the height of Torre Espacio.

The building project was featured on the Discovery Channel's Extreme Engineering series due to the skyscraper's unique form and shape.
