The Tornado Intercept Vehicle (TIV) is a modified Ford F-450 truck as a storm chasing equipment built by IMAX cinematographer Sean Casey. This heavily armoured vehicle can drive into a relatively less intense tornado (F0 to F3) to film it and take measurements. Some people may call it "Dumb and Dumber without the fur" because of its may look like the "sheepdog van" of that movie.
