Torgny Segerstedt

Torgny Segerstedt (1876-1945) was a Swedish scholar of comparative religion, later publicist and editor-in-chief of Göteborgs Handels och Sjöfartstidning 1917-1945. As such he is remembered for his uncompromising anti-Nazi stance.
He was the father of Torgny T:son Segerstedt (1908-1999), philosopher and sociologist and rector magnificus of Uppsala University.
