The Toquepala caves are located in the outskirts of the Mining Seat of Toquepala, at a height of the km 103 of the railroad of Ilth to Moquegua in the meridians 7°38 ' and 71°00 ' of longitude west and the 17°30 ' of south latitude.

Zone nailed in the Western Mountain range of the Andes to an altitude of 2,700 m.s.n.m. It is distant 154 km in straight line to the city of Tacna.
