[edit] Plot overview
House treats the nephew of a hospital donor (according to Cuddy), who complains of Gulf War Syndrome, a non-existent disease. Oddly enough, House had a dream the night before that included this patient, this causes House to spend much of the episode trying to figure out how he could have possibly met this man before. House sends his team to investigate the patients identity as well as his condition. During a test, the patient is left alone in an observation room during which Cameron "seduces" Chase into having sex next door. Foreman casually comes into check on the alarmed patient and questions Cameron and Chase later about why they were absent. Cameron admits having sex with Chase which Foreman takes as a joke. While this is going on, House is unable to urinate and is having trouble sleeping. House ultimately relieves his urination problem by using a catheter on himself. Following this relief, he is able to sleep, leading him to have another dream. House manages to figure out some facts about the near future, such as the team treating the patient for a diagnosis House dismissed, but also learns that he is dreaming. House wakes up and makes the correct diagnosis on the patient suddenly, surprising the team. House later approaches Cuddy for lying to him that the patient was the nephew of a hospital donor. House realizes where he met the patient before, one of Cuddy's dates, and confronts Cuddy who responds that House only knew the man because he was Cuddy's date. Cuddy tells House to get over her, similar to Chase's doubt of Cameron being over House. The episode ends with House catching Cameron and Chase in a storage closet, using the excuse he had to dispose of a file, leaving both with shocked expressions on their faces at House's seemingly apathetic attitude at them being caught. House is later seen grinning in a self-satisfied way as he walks out of the closet.

[edit] Recurring Themes
House & Cuddy
Near the episode ending, it is revealed that House and Cuddy have had a sexual relationship, possibly a one-night stand, at some point in the past. House implies that it was also the main reason for Cuddy hiring him ("You gave me everything I asked for because one night I gave you everything y...") Cuddy also realizes that House remembers the soldier because of a social event he had attended with Cuddy in the past. Cuddy asserts that House only remembers him due to the fact that he was her date once, which House dismisses.
Cameron & Chase
A patient is left alone in his observation room while Cameron and Chase engage in promiscuous activities in the adjacent room. Foreman enters the empty room to find the alarmed patient, and later questions both Cameron and Chase about their absence. After failed excuses Cameron frankly states that she and Chase were having sex, which Foreman takes as a joke, causing him to break out into laughter. At the end of the episode, Cameron and Chase are seen about to have sex in a storage closet when House walks in, allegedly to throw out papers. House does not react to their obvious situation, however, as he leaves the closet, he smirks to himself, suggesting he knew all along.
Vicodin
House's Vicodin use causes his bladder to spasm, preventing him from urinating. Wilson comments that perhaps it's time to cut back on his drug use, but House, after using a catheter on himself, shrugs off the advice.

[edit] Memorable Moments
- When House and his team walk into the patient's room to find Cuddy reviewing the file, the monitor's display behind Cuddy's (and then later House's) head is reversed. Whether this is a mistake or an intentional indication that this sequence is not real is unclear.
