Hi Tonyobrienuk, I have seen your comments, however must disagree. I openly left messages on the discussion pages of respected Irish colleagues as we have for months been discussing the same issues. Many others have used e-mail privately, however I'm not saying anything I feel I need to hide. I am a firm believer in and practicioner of fair play. Regards, Pconlon 12:15, 15 August 2006

I'm not accusing you of anything in this issue. You have a right to make your opinion known, and this can't be dismissed simply because of the way you came across the issue. Jtdirl/FearÉIREANN is the one using foul play. He posted on several people's talk pages giving them misinformation about my position in order to get you and others to come over and rally behind him, whether or not you had actually considered my position. Rather than either challenging my argument or proposing an alternative solution, he's then portrayed this as a genuine consensus and alliance of reason and acted as if I'm the radical, rather than the person who thinks the Republic of Ireland covers the whole of Ireland. Compare with the megaphone desktop tool used by the WUJS to drown out dissent over the recent conflict in Lebanon. What's worse is that Jtdirl hypocritically lambasts such actions on his own user page. I do apologise for posting on your talk page about the issue, but I really am rather fed up at Jtdirl's intransigence and deliberate blocking of the improvement of the U2 article. I'm sorry for any inconvnience to you for this part. Tonyobrienuk 18:54, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
