Hi, I would like to know how I should go about making an article about the 2032 presidential elections. Tony16 07:29, 18 February 2007 (UTC)

Generaly speaking I would say the first thing you would need to do is read Wikipedia:Your_first_article, However how much coverage is there really on an election that doesn't take place for another 25 years? You will always need to cite your sources and since I can't see how there could be that many you will have a hard time creating such an article. Hope this helps.Cheers — WilsBadKarma (Talk) 07:40, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
Sure, no problem. Just let me know if I can help in anyway.Cheers — WilsBadKarma (Talk) 07:50, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
First and formost if you don't want the article to be deleted since someone has already marked it for deletion you will need to add a {{hangon}} (See the instructions in the pink box on the article) I'll be more than happy to help you with the editing if it doesn't get deleted.Cheers — WilsBadKarma (Talk) 07:57, 18 February 2007 (UTC)

Tony16, for your information, I'll try to explain why your article was deleted because I believe you truly believed that the article's subject was appropriate for the project. The article's subject failed the "notability" requirement and appeared to be self-promotion. In order for a subject to usually be considered notable, it needs to be discussed or reported on by significant secondary sources. For example, if the subject of the article had had an article written about it in The Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Time magazine, or some other significant publication, then it might pass the notability requirement for it to remain on Wikipedia. [edit] Image:AsherHeimermann.jpg listed for deletion

An image or media file that you uploaded or altered, Image:AsherHeimermann.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion. Please look there to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. DachannienTalkContrib 08:28, 18 February 2007 (UTC)

When you uploaded Image:AsherHeimermann.jpg, you added a licensing tag indicating that you created the picture and were releasing it to the public domain. Unless you are an authorized agent of the studio that took the photograph and you have permission of the subject (both of which you need to provide proof of), this is not the correct license tag. Wikipedia takes licensing very seriously. I suggest that you if this is an incorrect tag that you correct it. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags. — ERcheck (talk) 15:56, 18 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Blocked

I've indefinitely blocked your account, as it is clear that it is being used as a sockpuppet of User:Asher Heimermann, violating the policies on self-promotion, abusive sockpuppets, and most of all child privacy. Asher having been amply warned beforehand, the use of this account to try to avoid scrutiny is a clear sign that he is unable to accept the rules here. yandman 12:40, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
