Anthony "Tony" Williams (born 20 October 1977 in Maesteg, Wales) is a Welsh goalkepeer who plays for Wrexham on loan from Carlisle United. His former club are Blackburn Rovers, Gillingham, Bristol Rovers, Macclesfield Town and Queens Park Rangers (all of these while on loan from Ewood Park). In 2000 he joined Hartlepool United on a free and started 131 league games at Victoria Park and joined Swansea City and Stockport County when he lost the number 1 jersey. In the 2004-2005 season he joined Grimsby Town where he was an ever-present but despite this we went to Carlisle United in 2005 and at the start of the saeson he was the no.1 kepper but lost this after some under par performances and was replaced by Kieren Westwood. In search of 1st team matches he went on loan to Bury and started 3 games until returning to Brunton Park. In March 2007, Willimas joined Welsh Football League outfit Wrexham on loan until the end of the season.[1] He is also a former Wales U-21 player.
