Tony Sardisco

Anthony Guy "Tony" Sardisco (b. December 5, 1932, Shreveport, Louisiana – d. May 28, 2006, Shreveport, Louisiana) played college football at Tulane University.
He was an American football guard/linebacker who played four seasons for the San Francisco 49ers and Washington Redskins for the 1956 season in the National Football League and the Boston Patriots (he was the team's first captain) from 1960 to 1962 in the American Football League.
He was admitted to the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame in 2004.
He died at age 73 following a massive heart attack at his home in Shreveport.
