Tony Page
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Tony Page is an English Labour politician and a member of Reading Borough Council, on which he has served without interruption since 1973.
Following the deselection of Jane Griffiths, then Labour Member of Parliament for Reading East, Page was selected by the Constituency Labour Party to replace her. Amid the ensuing acrimony within the Labour Party, the Conservative candidate, Rob Wilson, won the seat at the 2005 general election.
Page, who is openly gay[1], has two convictions for indecency[2].
