Tony Menezes

Tony Menezes (born November 24, 1974 in Mississauga, Ontario) is a Canadian professional soccer player. He currently plays for Mahindra United in India. He is a former Canadian international player who has earned 27 caps for Canada and was a member of the Gold Cup champion squad in 2000.
A 6'1, 180 lb (82 kg) defender, Menezes immigrated to Brazil with his family at age 10. He played for Botafogo in Rio de Janeiro until 2001, then signed with Chinese team Gansu Tianma. On April 19, 2006 he signed for the Toronto Lynx, and played only one season.
In November of 2006, he signed for defending champions Mahindra United of the Indian National Football League.
