Tony Hoffer

Tony Hoffer is an American producer, guitarist, music mixer, sound-designer, and who is credited for his work on multiple platinum-selling albums - including The Kooks, The Thrills, Beck, Turin Brakes, Air and others. His records have been nominated for multiple Grammys and British Mercury Prize Awards.
Hoffer is most noted for his production and mixing of albums by Beck, and the groups The Fratellis (debuted at #2 in UK charts on 11 Sep 06), The Kooks (one of the top-selling UK albums in 2006), The Rumble Strips, La Rocca, Air, and Supergrass. Tony has also worked with Belle & Sebastian, James Dean Bradfield, Grandaddy, Idlewild, Mark Owen, the French group Phoenix, Suede, Sondre Lerche and Turin Brakes. He also played guitar for Beck during the "Odelay" tour. Most of Tony's production work takes place in Los Angeles - usually with British bands - although he has also worked in Paris and Vancouver, and extensively in London.
Tony is described as a very humorous fellow with an infectious grin.[1] His photo appears on the inside of the "Midnite Vultures" album by Beck, as well as the latest Belle and Sebastian album, "The Life Pursuit."
