Tony Hackworth (born May 19, 1980) is an English professional footballer who currently plays for Scarborough.
Hackworth started his career at Leeds United where he made 3 first team appearances, one in the Premiership and two in the Champions League against Barcelona and Lazio. He did not succeed in Leeds, and he was for a short time in Sogndal on loan. He moved to Notts County for £120,000 after failing to make an impact on the Leeds first team. He did not make much of an impact there either and only started 23 games in 3 years and only scored 3 goals in that time. Moved to Scarborough on loan in March 2004, making his debut against Leigh RMI, signed permanently for Scarborough in Summer 2004 and became a first team regular there. Was released by Scarborough in May 2006. But re-signed again at the start of July 2006.
