From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Anthony "Tony" Keith Gwynn Jr. (born October 4, 1982 in Long Beach, California) is an American baseball player; currently an outfielder for the Milwaukee Brewers. He is the son of baseball Hall of Famer Tony Gwynn, nephew of former Dodger outfielder Chris Gwynn, and brother of musician Anisha Nicole.

Gwynn made his major league debut on July 15, 2006; his first major league hit on July 19 came exactly 24 years to the day of his father's first major league hit — both doubles. [1]

Towards the end of the 2006 campaign, Gwynn received more playing time, replacing Brady Clark in the lineup.

Gwynn made the Milwaukee Brewers 25-man roster following Spring Training 2007.

On November 18, 2006, Tony Gwynn Jr. married Alyse Mallek in La Jolla, California.
