Tony DeZuniga finished Bachelor of Science in Commercial Arts at the University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines. From there, he enrolled in the School for Advanced Graphic Design in New York City.

Tony worked for DC Comics and Marvel Comics for 18 years where he drew X-Men, Spider-Man and other action hero figures. He also created and designed the look of Jonah Hex and Black Orchid for DC Comics. After 10 years as a conceptual designer, he retired from SEGA of America and SEGA of Japan. He also did freelance work for Scholastic Publications, TSR's Dungeons & Dragons and McGraw Hill Publications.

Tony is a winner of the Sega Presidents Award for Excellence for 1997. Recently, he returned to pencil an issue of the new Jonah Hex book and is rumored to be doing more work on the title.
