Tony Campos is the bass player for Static-X, an industrial metal band. Along with Wayne, he's the only one of the band who was there through all the changes, although he is not credited for with leading the band's sound through production and the like. He backs up with growling low vocals. Tony sings the entire song "Anything But This" live.

Tony also performs vocals/bass for Asesino, a Brujeria side project. He currently uses Fernandes five-string Tremor bass guitars tuned ADGCF.

In 2001, Campos suffered a motorcycle accident, resulting in a broken collarbone, which caused him to miss most of the ongoing Static-X tour. He was temporarily replaced with Marty O'Brien. His stage name "Maldito X" means in Spanish "Damn X"[1]
