Tony Barrow

Tony Barrow (Liverpool) was the Beatles' first press agent (from 1962-68) and coined the phrase "The Fab Four."

He starts working at Liverpool Echo at the age of 17. After that, he joined Brian Epstein's NEMS Enterprises as head of the Press and Publicity Division. In 1962 he became The Beatles's own public relations man. In 1968 he formed his own company : Tony Barrow International.
