Toniu Fonoti (born November 26, 1981 in American Samoa) is an [[offensive guard for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League. He played collegiately at Nebraska.
He has been rumored to be one of the heaviest football players of all time. When he was traded to the Minnesota Vikings from the San Diego Chargers midseason in 2005, he was said to weigh over 390 pounds at 6'4". Fonoti has a brother, Tauala'i, who plays football at Stanford and another younger brother, La'auli, who plays football at New Mexico State University. Fonoti signed with the Miami Dolphins on November 7, 2006.
Fonoti signed with the Atlanta Falcons as an unrestricted free agent on March 14, 2007.
