[edit] Warnings
Refer your problem with my edits to an administrator. I have not vandalised Grimsby. I added a now sourced fact. I will not have unjustified warnings placed on my page in bias. TomGreen 15:19, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
- The edit you keep making to Grimsby regarding Ian Huntley is not wanted on that page. Wikipedia will not glorify murderers. Administrators have been notified. GrimGary 15:24, 12 March 2007 (UTC)

- I am not glorifying anything. The section is entitled 'notable connections', that doesen't mean they have to be favourable. TomGreen 15:27, 12 March 2007 (UTC)

- The general consensus by everyone (barring you it seems) is that Ian Huntley is not wanted on that page. Every time that name has been put on the page it has been deleted, not just by myself. If you look through the history of the page it has been deleted many times. Surely that's reason enough for you to leave it alone. Just because he was born in Grimsby does not mean he is a notable connection with the town. He's a nobody who just happened to kill some kids hundreds of miles away from Grimsby. Leave it at that. - Wikipedia is a source of factual information, not what biased users decide goes on their hometown pages. Do you think the people of Bingley really want to be associated with Peter Sutcliffe? Yet he is mentioned on their page. TomGreen 15:38, 12 March 2007 (UTC)

- Peter Sutcliffe is Britain's best known serial killer. There is a difference between him and Huntley. GrimGary 15:41, 12 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Notability of The Fair Maid (Cottingham)
A tag has been placed on The Fair Maid (Cottingham), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page (below the existing db tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Fourohfour 15:02, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Re: Question
Examing the documentation for Template:Infobox England placeshow there is a parameter "Fire" that if not explicitly defined is filled in with a default based upon other template information. If you add this parameter to the template call at the top of Immingham and define it with the needed information, that should resolve your problem. --Allen3 talk 14:29, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] History of tattooing
Hi. Your removal of vandalism on History of tattooing inadvertently restored some prior vandalism by the same editor who had made two vandalisms in a row to the article. I removed it, thanks. - Dan D. Ric 14:38, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
- No problem, I've done the same thing all too many times myself so I always try to check now after reverting to make sure I haven't reverted to some more vandalism. - Dan D. Ric 15:08, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
