[edit] Tom Cummings

A tag has been placed on Tom Cummings, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Darkspots 13:56, 14 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] A few things to consider

Hi. Some people have noticed you've been inserting information about people who aren't considered notable into several articles on Wikipedia. For inclusion, people generally have to be Notable, and Verifiable. Same goes for the article you created "Venice is Sinking". If you can prove Notability and Verifiability of these people and the film, then please feel free to recreate these edits and articles, but be prepared to back up your edits with proof.

Additionally, it's generally considered to be a conflict of interest for people to write and edit articles about themselves. Please don't do this, as it's strongly frowned upon. Thanks! TheQuandry 19:41, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
