[edit] Pseudonyms
Tomer often goes by the pseudonym "Tomoir III", (pronounced "Tome-whar the-thurrd") either to retain anonymity or simply because it's cool (in his mind).
[edit] Origin of "Tomoir III"
There has been much question as to the reason for the pseudonym "Tomoir III", and the origin thereof. However, a simple explanation exists. It all happened in Grade 7, when Tomer needed to hand in a History assignment. Tomer signed off this history assignment, which was to be a letter to King Louis XIV, as Tomoir III, in a somewhat jokingly manner. The original assignment was written as follows:
To your majesty, King Louis XIV, Mon., March 17, 1664
Religion is and continues to be an important part of daily life in New France. One of the things that has led me to believe this is the large amount of people that are coming here and establishing organizations that have a lot to do with church and faith. One of those people is Jeanne Mance, who just came to Canada in 1641 with the intent of building a hospital. She served under God and became a well-known nurse in the area.
Another settler that works in the name of the Lord is Francois Leval. He arrived here four years ago to preach the gospel and administer the church, and was appointed by you, but unfortunately the appointment was delayed due to the fighting for authority between the Vaticans and France. After the battle ended, Francois then became the Bishop of Quebec. This man is respected as he fights for morality towards the natives here. The bishop always wished to build a seminary, and was given authorization to build a school while still in Paris. Just yesterday, an ordinance in Paris founded the seminary, and Francois will build it himself, even give up his own land.
As you can see, one of the reasons that you chose to settle here is still important to us, and, as things are looking now, will continue to be important for years to come.
Signed,
Tomoir III
As you can see, this small, insignificant pen name caught on quickly.
[edit] Criticisms of "Tomoir III"
As of yet, the only feasible criticism of the name is that it is difficult to pronounce correctly. Some people pronounce "Tomoir III" as "Tom-oyr". This is, in many cases, the result of mental retardation.
[edit] Coolness
There is much debate as to the amount of Tomer's coolness. There are two main schools of thought relating to this; that Tomer is cool (The "Idiots") and that Tomer is, in fact uncool (people who know what they're talking about). Often, to think that Tomer is cool, one would have to be mentally ill. This varies, and some people think Tomer is uncool, are right.
Common arguments for Tomer's coolness (made by the idiots) include:
- Tomer is awesome (NOT!)
- Tomer can do the cancan (very loser-ish)
- Tomer uses Linux (he THINKS he can use Linux)
However, arguments against Tomer's coolness (brought forth by people who know what they're talking about} are:
- Tomer can't whistle (aha, retard)
- Tomer's Gender, as well as Tomer's orientation are ambiguous
- Tomer is mentally ill (Yes indeedy.)
- However, everybody is quick to point out that Tomer is, in fact, verymentally ill
[edit] Tomer's opinion of his own coolness
Tomer thinks that he is moderately cool. Not uncool and not too cool. Tomer is often criticized for thinking this. Some people think that Tomer is mentally ill for thinking that he is cool. These people are somewhat correct.
[edit] Conclusion regarding Tomer's coolness
Through all of the controversy, a distinct answer as to Tomer's coolness cannot be decided. Instead, the constantly arguing Coolists and People that are wrong decided to have drinks and cease to argue. Tomer thinks this was a good decision, and donned both parties as not mentally ill.
[edit] Communism
Tomer is, according to various sources, including Tomer himself, a Commie. Tomer.
[edit] Common misconceptions regarding Tomer's Communism
Some people have gained the notion that Tomer is mentally ill for believing in Communism. However, Tomer is often quick to point out that in a Communist society, people such as Fiddy, Slim Shady and the current American president would swiftly be put to death. This argument often gains much admiration for Communism among smart and cool people.
