Tomiya, Miyagi

Tomiya (富谷町; -machi) is a town located in Kurokawa District, Miyagi, Japan. The mayor is Hidetoshi Wakō.

Tomiya was a post station during the feudal age for travelers resting in between the towns of Yoshioka and Sendai.

As of 2006, the town has an estimated population of 42,982 and a density of 876.86 persons per km². The total area is 49.13 km².
