Tom and Jerry is a sidescrolling platform game released by Hi Tech Expressions for the NES in 1990, and for the Super NES and DOS in 1993.

The player controls Jerry, the mouse, as he traverses through four different themed worlds - a movie theater, a junkyard, a toy store, and a house. Controls for this game are as follows: A Button: Jerry Jumps B Button: Jerry uses weapon Control pad: Moves Jerry left, right, and up/down on ladders and other climbable surfaces. Start pauses the game, and select is used during gameplay to toggle weapons.

Usable weapons include marbles, a hammer, bubblegum, and other household items. At the end of each world, Jerry goes into a minor battle with Tom, the cat, more likely known as his adversary.

Graphics for this game are highly improved compared to early 80's games such as Duck Hunt.
