Tom Wise

Tom Wise (born on 13 May 1948 in Bournemouth, Hampshire) is a Member of the European Parliament for the East of England for the United Kingdom Independence Party, part of the Independence and Democracy grouping. He was first elected in 2004. He was UKIP's official spokesman on Culture, Youth, Media and Sport until his supsension by the party in February 2007 amid an investigation[1] by OLAF. He sits on the European Parliament's Committee on Culture and Education (CULT). He also is a substitute for the Committee on Fisheries.
He is a former police officer and former managing director of a German herbs and spices company. He used to be a member of the Liberal Party.

- Contested General Elections in 1997 and 2001 for UKIP
- since 1997 Member of the UK Independence Party
- since 1998: Chairman of the UKIP South-West Bedfordshire Constituency Association
