Tom Welham is the lead guitarist and backing vocalist for the band Thirteen Senses.
Originally from a small village just shy of Lands End, he attended Humphry Davy Secondary School in Penzance from years 7 to 11 before leaving to excel at four monster A-levels at Camborne School and Community College. Throughout his years the teenaged giant grew his hair to unimaginable lengths to the extend his fringe got tangled to his guitar during one of the many fund raiser events organised by the famous in house DJ's 'Wel & Squell'
This dark horse can produce some special fret love like non other. Big T has a selection of instruments to hand, both biological and manufactured, producing sounds that have the potential to make ones gisp quiver. Some say that if you hold the album 'The Invitation' to your ear you can hear one of the unreleased tracks 'Excuse me, is that my mutton?'.
All guitars are specifically tailored to this man-angel taste with adaptations including a beer can holder, hand moisturiser dispenser and a volume ranging from 1 to 11 for those occasions Thirteen Senses needs that extra push over the cliff letting Big Wel go one louder.
As well as being your everyday rock God, between gigs you'll find this love bunny stroking out new B-sides in the band's home studio.
