Thomas "Tom" Warburton (born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is an American animator. He is sometimes credited as Mr. Warburton.
Warburton was raised in the Philadelphia area. He attended Kutztown University before relocating to New York City to pursue a career in animation. Warburton is the creator of two animated series for Cartoon Network: Kenny and the Chimp (1999) and Codename: Kids Next Door (2002). Only a pilot episode was produced for Kenny and the Chimp, but Codename: Kids Next Door was selected via Cartoon Network's "Big Pick Weekend" to be expanded into a full series. As of late 2005 it is in production on its sixth season at Curious Pictures in Manhattan.
Warburton has been involved with the New York animation industry for many years, and has worked for J.J. Sedelmaier and Jumbo Pictures, done character design for the Disney series Pepper Ann and directed several episodes of Sheep in the Big City before his work on Codename: Kids Next Door.
His aliases, Numbuh Eleventy Billion (a KND operative) and Nogoodnik (a villain) occasionally appears in Codename: Kids Next Door, according to a Q&A.
