Tom Roberts of Trotwood, Ohio, is an American politician of the Democratic party who serves as a member of the Ohio Senate.

Roberts holds a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Dayton and an associate's degree from Sinclair Community College.

He was elected to the Ohio House of Representatives in 1986 and served there from 1987 to 2001. In 2000, he was elected to the state senate. He was re-elected in 2002 and in 2006.
