Tom Pohling (May 15 1951–July 16 2003) was an influential[citation needed] guitarist for the C.A. Quintet. An early noise stylist, his work predated that of artists using similar techniques like [Paul Cutler], [Tom Morello], and [Reeves Gabrels]. All surviving recordings of this band feature his work. He died in Garfield, OK.
