Tom Moffatt

Dr Tom Moffatt (Irish: Tomás Ó Moffat; born January 1940) is a retired Fianna Fáil politician in the Republic of Ireland. He was a TD for the constituency of Mayo. Moffatt was first elected to Dáil Éireann in the 1992 General Election for Mayo East and retained his seat until losing it at the 2002 general election. From July 1997 to June 2002 he served as Minister of State at the Department of Health in the government of Bertie Ahern.
