Tom Dart

Tom Dart is a former Member of the Illinois House of Representatives and is currently the Democratic nominee for Cook County Sheriff. Dart won the Democratic primary on March 21st, 2006 defeating Sylvester Baker and Richard Remus in a landslide victory.

Tom Dart won the 2006 election and replaced Michael F. Sheahan for Cook County Sheriff.

Tom Dart served as State Representative of the 28th district from 1993 to 2002.

In 2002 Dart was the Democratic nominee for Illinois State Treasurer but lost to incumbent Republican Judy Baar Topinka.
