Tom Curry

Tom Curry, born in South Shields (1 September 1894 - 6 February 1958) was the trainer for Manchester United F.C.

He played for Newcastle United as a half-back, making 221 appearances in the 1920s, scoring 5 goals.

He died in the crash of Flight BE609 in Munich, along with twenty-two other people on the aircraft.
