Tom Bethell

Tom Bethell (born 1936) is an journalist specializing in economic issues, known for his support of the market economy, political conservatism, and unorthodox science.

Born and raised in England, Bethell was educated at Downside School and the University of Oxford.

He is a senior editor of the The American Spectator, correspondent for National Review, and member of the Hoover Institution.

Bethell is a member of the Group for the Scientific Reappraisal of the HIV-AIDS Hypothesis which denies that HIV causes AIDS. His The Politically Incorrect Guide to Science promotes global warming skepticism, AIDS denial, and a skeptical inquiry into the theory of evolution
