Tom Bertram

Tom Bertram (born May 24, 1977 in Ashford, Surrey) is an English field hockey defender, who participated in two Summer Olympics for Great Britain: in 2000 and 2004.

Bertram, nicknamed Bertie and/or Stroker, played club hockey for Bournville, Stourport and Reading. He made his debut for England in 1999, in a friendly against Argentina.

He is a doctor, and his international career has at times been interrupted by his medical studies.
