Tomás Taveira

Tomás Taveira (born 1938) is a Portuguese architect. He owns a post-graduation from MIT (U.S.A.), and was a Professor at the Technical University of Lisbon until 2003 when he was expelled due to a disciplinary process. He is among Portugal's most highly-acclaimed architects born in the 20th century.
In the early 1990s he was involved in a sex scandal when some home-made recordings were found in videotapes showing him having sexual intercourse with different younger women. Since then he gained huge notoriety.
