Tomás Ruíz González

Tomás José Ruíz González (March 23, 1963–) is a Mexican politician and the current Director General of the Mexican Lottery (Lotería Nacional para la Asistencia Pública).

[edit] Professional career and education

Ruiz González obtained his diploma in Finance from ITAM in 1988, and afterwards his master's degree in International Political Economics from the Escuela de Asuntos Públicos e Internacionales of Columbia University in 1990. From 2000 to 2003 he was the Director of Banco Nacional de Obras y Servicios Públicos (Banobras). He served as a PRI deputy in the Chamber of Deputies of Mexico, representing the state of Veracruz.
