"He learned under the tutulage of Ron Smith and learned to "battle" and hit off the "high tee" in his spare time."

I don't think this adds anything of substance to the article. Perhaps if it was expanded with some more details about what is meant by "learned to battle" and "hit off the high tee"? Or perhaps a source where Mastny is quoted as mentioning the influence of his college manager? I've followed baseball closely all my life and I don't think I've ever heard of the latter expression (i.e. "high tee"). --Sanfranman59 00:11, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
