Tolka Row

Tolka Row was the first Irish soap opera made by Radio Telifís Éireann (then called Telifís Éireann). It ran from January 3, 1964 to June 7, 1968 and was set around the Nolan family in the fictional Dublin housing estate of Tolka Row. The show was written by Maura Laverty and was based on her 1951 play of the same name.
