Tol Sivron is a Twi'lek scientist in the Star Wars expanded universe.
He was originally a member of the Twi'lek Clan Council on Ryloth. According to local custom, the members of this Clan Council would remain in power, and therefore live in luxury, as long as every member of the group remained alive. When one of the other Twi'leks died in an accident, the entire group was cast out to the harsh wilderness of Ryloth. Sivron, desperate to survive, murdered the others and took the supplies. Eventually, he found his way to an Imperial refueling station on the planet and struck a deal with then-commander Tarkin. Sivron impressed the Imperial, and was later chosen to lead the team of researchers at the Maw Installation, the hidden facility responsible for designing the Death Star and Sun Crusher.
Sivron remained in charge of the Maw Installation for over ten years. He was not a very effective manager; he rarely read his underlings reports and instead spent his time creating a complex bureaucratic system.
11 years after the battle of Yavin, Han Solo and Kyp Durron successfully stole the Sun Crusher from the installation. The Imperial officer responsible for the installation's protection, Admiral Daala, chased after them, leaving Sivron and his team to fend for themselves. They quickly created a mediocre defense system, which held long against the New Republic long enough for them to escape in a prototype Death Star. They emerged from the Maw cluster in the Kessel system, where Sivron ordered his team to destroy the planet Kessel using the Death Star's superlaser. The laser missed, however, and hit the planet's moon. Emboldened when he realized the destructive power he commanded, Sivron took the prototype back into the Maw Cluster to destroy the installation instead of letting it fall into Republic hands. When he returned to the cluster, he was attacked by Kyp Durron in the Sun Crusher. Durron tricked Sivron into flying the prototype too close to one of the Maw cluster's black holes. Sivron, as well as everyone else aboard the prototype, died when it was swallowed by the black hole.
