[edit] Links in this article

I have been judicious in linking terms in TS contents in this article. In general, I have linked authors for whom there are (or in the case of Richard C. West, ought to be!) individual articles in Wikipedia, and non-Tolkien terms (Beowulf, Sir Orfeo, Lord Dunsany).

I'm not sure of the value of linking to Frodo, Beren, etc., and so have not done so, but I will defer to those with more experience on the norms of this project which I have just joined. - PKM 20:38, 21 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Templates

Had a fun time getting the infobox and ME Portal template to co-exist happily. Hope the results are in keeping wth project standards. - PKM 20:49, 21 January 2007 (UTC)

I'm ambivalent about the ME-portal link. It is a good link to have, but I have never found anywhere suitable to place it. I normally put it in the 'See also' section if there is one. If there isn't a see also section, then in the external links. Basically somewhere down the bottom. Let people read the article first, before they follow category or portal links. Excellent, moved to "references". - PKM 23:23, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
