[edit] BFME

Can anyone start a section on BFME? I don't know that map well, so it would be great if someone could write about it. I suggest it be put in the "Other Maps" sections, since it's not as big nor as popular as the others. Thx --Malgalad 20:53, 13 April 2006 (UTC)

The July 11, 2006 edit deleted the section on BFME.-Anonymous 27 July 2006

[edit] Sources

Are there published sources (websites, forum posts, etc) that can be included to verify this information and show that it is not original research that appears nowhere else? If we can start adding reference links, that would be great. --Habap 16:19, 14 April 2006 (UTC)

Good point, I'll try to work on it --Malgalad 22:37, 16 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Biased edits: Versions and controversies

I have repeatedly had to reformulate biased edits, especially in the Ring Wars section, where the map and its makers have been criticized for all sorts of things. This is not what this article is for; it must remain factual and objective only, so keep all opinions for yourself. There are forums to discuss of such things. Whoever is reverting our edits should please consider this. --Malgalad 23:18, 23 April 2006 (UTC)

This is especially true in light of Wikipedia policies on verifiability and maintaining a neutral point of view. The more often nonsense occurs, the more likely it is that other editors will come along and recommend removal of sections of the article or the entire article based on violations of those policies. This is an encyclopedia, not a gaming forum and many editors feel gaming mods are inherently non-notable and far less tolerant of nonsense than those who have been policing this article of late. So, play nice or expect to have no place to play. --Habap 19:01, 5 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Downloading them?

Where does one go to download these scenarios, including the older versions of Ring Wars? --Shadowlord 00:36, 29 April 2006 (UTC)

Older versions are generally not uploaded and can therefore be hard to find on the web, if at all. The best way would probably be to get it from an online acquaintance (an old Warcraft player, for instance), and either download it from him on battle.net or get it transfered by email or IM.
However, older RWs versions aren't played anymore. Why do you want them? --Malgalad 01:49, 2 May 2006 (UTC)
