Tokyo Black Cat Girl is a one-chapter story by Mia Ikumi. It was included in volume four of the Tokyo Mew Mew manga series. Tokyo Black Cat Girl is very similar to Tokyo Mew Mew, and as it came first, may be its predecessor.
[edit] Story
Hime Azumi has just been asked out by her crush, Noda, when she is suddenly transformed into Princess Azumi and given the responsibility of protecting Tokyo from the Bakus.
[edit] Characters
- Hime Azumi (安曇 姫 Azumi Hime?) - Hime is the heroine of Tokyo Black Cat Girl. She was given the power to transform in a uniform given to her by Masha. She has a crush on a character named Noda, but did not reveal her secret until he was almost eaten by the Bakus.
- Noda - Noda is Hime's crush. He hates people carrying secrets. However, Hime kept her secret until Noda was attacked by monsters and finally revealed it to him, he got mad but forgave her and asked her to make up to all the lies by making him multiple lunch boxes. He works part-time at a gas station and therefore cannot always go out with Hime.
- Masha (マシャ?)- An intergalactic police officer who gives Hime her powers. Its powers include the ability to shrink down to telephone mascot size and fly/hover. It can also erase memories and fix any damage caused by the Bakus, but this is only mentioned and it is never explained how it can do this.
- Baku (バク?) - Parasitic aliens who are attacking Earth. The Baku's name could possibly be a pun on the Japanese word "baka", meaning stupid, especially since Hime is seen calling them "geek".
