Tokuhiko Uwabo

Tokuhiko Uwabo (上保徳彦) is a composer of Japanese video game music. Sometimes he has gone by the nicknames "Bo" and "Noah Toku," as seen in the credits of games he has scored. Although he helped create Sega's early sound, not much is known about him. He is best remembered for the mysterious melodies of Phantasy Star, Zillion and Alex Kidd.
Mr. Bo started composing for the first Sega console, the SG-1000:

Then he scored the music for the following Sega Master System / SG-1000 Mark III games:
- Alex Kidd in Miracle World
- Phantasy Star
- Akai Koudan Zillion
- Zillion II
- Sukeban Deka II
- Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse
- Choplifter
and ported the music of these games from their native machines to the Master System:

With Hiroshi Kubota he worked on the Mega Drive port of Sorcerian.
