I would like to suggest using Image:Thatcher.jpg or (cropped to remove the black frame ?) to show Maggie's face at 100px. Any particular reason to show the 2001 pic ? It seems too small at 100px, and her eyes look funny at the original scale.

And, how about "symbol" or "icon" instead of "figurehead" in the second sentence ? -- PFHLai 10:02, 2005 Apr 15 (UTC)

Yes, I used the 2001 pic because it's the only one in this article that isn't fair use (the LOC picture you cited is from the U.S. News and World Report Collection so I think it's fair use). The one in the article now is not great, but it gets the job done. Find be a better one that isn't fair use and I'll use it instead. →Raul654 13:21, Apr 15, 2005 (UTC)
I looked, and I failed. Pity... The FA deserves a better pic. :-( Oh, well, .... -- PFHLai 20:37, 2005 Apr 16 (UTC)
User:Juntung notified me on my talk page that it's election season in the UK - I was unaware of this. I've made a quick switch, and I'll reschedule the iron lady for sometime in May after the election. You have until then to find a better pic :) →Raul654 22:47, Apr 16, 2005 (UTC)
I wonder what the partisan effect would be of putting Tony Blair as Today's featured article for May 5. Dbiv 12:09, 17 Apr 2005 (UTC)
