Hello there, welcome to Wikipedia!! If you want, drop us a note at Wikipedia:New user log to introduce yourself (but I think its kind of smelly in there).
You can sign your name on talk pages by using "--~~~ " for your username and "--~~~~ " for your username and a timestamp, as well as just "~~~~~" for the time. And you can mix code together to get a fancy sig like mine :).
Hello, Toddkay, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- Welcome is a good place to start.
- Wikipedia:Tutorial runs through all the basics.
- Wikipedia:How does one edit a page gives editing help.
- Wikipedia:Manual of Style gives formatting info.
- Wikipedia:Policies and guidelines tell about the principles we operate on. It's important, but don't try to read it all now.
- Wikipedia:Help covers a broad range of useful topics.
- Wikipedia:Help desk is a place to ask questions.
- Wikipedia:Show preview explains how to double-check your edits before saving.
- Wikipedia:Etiquette outlines the proper Wikiquette, to use when writing and discussing articles on Wikipedia.
- Wikipedia:Sandbox is a page where it is recommended you practice your editing.
*this My edit count facinatingly breaks down your editing in graphs and tables for you to see.
Drop me a question (or ask for my phone number if you're a girl) on my Talk Page at Mac Davis., I should respond pretty quickly.
Wikipedia is also big on not infringing copyrights, don't learn it the hard way. Wikipedia also has a zero-tolerance Wikipedia:Vandalism policy. Even though we give you 4 chances to be good.
I got you a super cool Talk Page title too.
That is a really sweet, with a capital 5 image of Warthog's internal components you did. See ya around!
Happy editing, -- Mac Davis] ⌇☢ ญƛ. 05:03, 21 March 2006 (UTC)
