Todd Hammel

Todd Layne Hammel(Born:December 7, 1966,in Durant,Oklahoma) is an Arena Football League quarterback most recently for the Colorado Crush. He has played for ten teams since his AFL career began in 1992. Has a twin brother, Tad.

Todd Hammel attended Durant High School (Durant,Oklahoma) and was a four sport letterman in football, basketball, baseball, and track. As a senior, he led his football team to the 1983 Class 3-A State Championship. He also helped lead the Lions in basketball to a District Championship. Hammel graudated from Durant High School in 1984.

Todd Hammel attended Stephen F. Austin State University, and he finished his spectacular career with 8,631 passing yards, and 65 touchdowns. As a senior, he led his team to a 12 win-2 loss-1 tie record, a No.3 ranked team in NCAA Div.I-AA football, was named a first team All-Conference pick, and the Southland Conference Offensive Player of the Year. He left school as the school's all-time leader in passing attempts, completions, yards, touchdowns, and total yardage.
